Magento 2 Integration Guide

✅ Step 1: Sign Up

Create your account at askful.io. Once signed in, you'll land on your Dashboard.

🔗 Step 2: Install the Askful Connector

To connect your Magento 2 store, first install the Askful Connector module:

1. Download the Askful Connector module from your Askful dashboard.
2. Upload the extension files to your Magento 2 app/code/ folder.
3. Run the following commands in your Magento root directory:
   • bin/magento setup:upgrade
   • bin/magento cache:flush

🔗 Step 3: Set Up Your Magento Integration

1. Go to Store Integration from the sidebar menu.
2. Click "Configure Store Integration".
3. Select Magento 2 from the dropdown.
4. Enter your Store URL (e.g., https://yourstore.com).

Magento 2 Credentials

To connect your Magento 2 store:

1. Generate your API Keys by going to Stores > Settings > Configuration > Askful.
2. Access your API credentials by going to Stores > Extensions > Integrations > Askful Connector.
3. Paste the keys into the form and click Create.

📦 Step 4: Import Products

After creating the integration, you'll see your store listed.

1. Click Import Products.
2. You will be taken to the Import Wizard and once you click the button "Start Import" the system will:
   • Check your connection
   • Import all products
   • Automatically generate FAQs for each product

Once finished, you'll see a summary of the products imported.

📄 Step 5: Import CMS Pages

To improve your widget's responses about your store policies, import your CMS pages:

1. Go to Platform Integrations.
2. Click Import CMS.
3. Confirm the popup.

FAQs for shipping, returns, and other policies will be generated automatically from the imported pages.

🎨 Step 6: Preview the Widget

Now that your products and pages are loaded, you can preview how the widget will appear on your site:

1. Navigate to your Dashboard
2. Search for a product SKU in the search bar
3. Click on one of the auto-generated FAQs to see how it will display
4. Use the color customization options to match your brand's aesthetic

📄 Step 7: Configure the Widget Token and Enable the Module

To complete the integration, you need to configure your widget token and enable the module:

1. Return to your Dashboard
2. Navigate to the "Widget Configuration" tab
3. Locate and copy your unique widget token
4. Open your Magento 2 admin panel
5. Go to Stores > Configuration > Askful AI > Askful Connector
6. Paste the widget token in the Widget Token field
7. Set the module as "Enabled"
8. Save the changes and flush the cache
